Invocnz Limited is establishing a restaurant in Auckland, New Zealand. We require a Cook to join our team. This role will be a permanent and full-time job.
Your responsibilities include:
· Plan and prepare high-quality meals in accordance with menu specifications;
· Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure conistent quality and portion sizes;
· Monitor and maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards in compliance with New Zealand Food Safety regulations;
· Manage Kitchen inventory, ording, and stock rotation to minimize waste;
· Ensure all food is stored and handled correctly to meet food safety requirements;
· Maintain kitchen cleanliness, equipment, and workspaces;
· Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak service hours;
· Any other tasks assigned from the superior.
The ideal applicant needs to:
· Have at least 2-year work experience in cooking in a Chinese restaurant or similar field;
· Work during weekends;
· Have relevant cook certificate, but not compulsory;
· Have experience of making Chinese food, especially Chuan-style stir and small clay pot food;
· Can work unsupervised or part of a team;
· Be flexible to meet the demands of the operation, including working shift changes;
· Be able to complete paperwork when needed;
· Be dedicated to Health & Safety in the workplace and practices the principles of zero harm;
· Be calm, professional temperament and a good work ethic;
· Be able to speak mandarin is preferred;
· Have a good spirit of team work.
Pay conditions:
Minimum $32 to Maximum $35 per hour
Hours of work:
Minimum 40 hours per week is guaranteed
Location:
You will be required to work in Auckland.
