We are looking for one full-time Baker with at least 2 years of experience to work in our Bakery in Browns Bay.
Minimum number of hours per week : 40 hours
Maximum number of hours per week : 50 hours
Main duties
-Weighing and measuring ingredients according to recipes
-Loading, unloading, de-panning, cooling, emptying, cleaning, greasing baking trays and other cooking equipment
-Baking a variety of cakes, pastries, sweet products, and bread dough
-Decorating and garnishing baked products
-Ensuring the foods are tasty, fresh, and meet the required standard
-Checking supplies and reporting to the manager to order more stocks
-Maintaining the kitchen to the required hygiene standards to comply with work health and safety regulations
-Serving customers and taking payments
-Any other reasonable duties required by the manager
Requirements
-NZ citizens or residents will be preferred
-At least 2 years of relevant experience
-Must be experienced in the entire pie baking process and in baking all kind of sweets
-Must be punctual, organized and honest
-Able to start early around 5am
-Efficient and able to work under high pressure with heavy workload
-Able to pay attention to details and finish work within the required timeframe
