Tabarik Enterprises Limited T/A De Grand Thai Restaurant is located in central Auckland. We provide top-class Thai food for tourists and local business people. We now need a Waiter/Waitress to help us provide top-quality food. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week. 

The job involves the following tasks and duties:  

  • Setting and arranging tables.
  • Greet customers and present them with menus and beverage lists.
  • Taking orders and relaying them to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serving food and beverages.
  • Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen.
  • Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses.
  • Collecting payments for sales and operating point-of-sale machines and cash registers.
  • Other reasonable tasks required by management.

 

The requirements for the job include:

  • Have at least 1 year of relevant work experience
  • A certificate or above certificate in hospitality, or a Bachelor’s Degree in any major, can replace the work experience requirement.
  • Have a can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure since our restaurant is extremely busy during peak hours.
  • You should also possess good interpersonal skills to coordinate duties in the kitchen effectively.
