Eat Mi is a vibrant and growing hospitality business in Auckland, we proudly highlight the typical Vietnamese street food. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchenhand to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about food, eager to grow in the hospitality industry, ready to contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Cleaning raw food material
· Preparing raw food material by cutting, filling.
· Cleaning kitchen area, dishes, cooking utensils, and cooking equipment .
· May be required to serve dishes or clean tables .
· May be required to perform some cooking tasks .
· Perform other reasonable tasks required by the cooking staff .
· Portion rice, curries and accompaniments during service.
· Wash dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils efficiently.
· Receive, unpack, and store deliveries of fresh produce, spices, and other goods.
· Remove kitchen waste, empty bins, and manage recycling in a hygienic manner.
· Comply with all kitchen hygiene and food safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum of 3 months of kitchen experience or a level 4 qualification in any field (preferred).
• Strong passion for the food and hospitality industry.
• Ability to communicate in Vietnamese (preferred).
• Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holiday
• You must show that you can speak and understand English.
