AUTHENLAN LTD located in Auckland, is looking for two full-time Pastrycooks to join our team. As a pastrycook, you will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week on a roster. 

 

About you:

  • At least one year of relevant experience or  
  • Relevant NZQF level 4 or above qualification
  • Physically fit with a clear criminal record

Job Description:
You will be responsible for:

  • Inspect equipment and premises before production runs to ensure they meet occupational health and safety standards.
  • Assess the quality of raw materials and measure ingredients accurately.
  • Knead, mature, cut, mould, mix, and shape dough for production.
  • Clean and maintain cooking equipment after use.
  • Coordinate with managers, kitchen staff, and service teams on food preparation, including tasks like making dough and marinating ingredients.
  • Skilled in the art of hand made Chinese pastries.
  • Enforce and communicate hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Handle food freezing and preservation tasks as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
