Goldenbridge Entertainment Ltd (Gogo Music Cafe) is based in Dominion Road, Auckland. We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Duty Manager to join our team; you will be working for a minimum of 30 hours per week on a roster, and you will be responsible for:

Job Description：

  • Plan menus with the chef, focusing on customer preferences, seasonal ingredients, and cost control, with an emphasis on popular Chinese BBQ and Asian-style dishes and drinks.
  • Coordinate special promotions or themed events (e.g., holiday BBQ sets, member offers, cultural food days) to attract customers and increase sales.
  • Manage purchasing and pricing of ingredients, beverages, and supplies within budget, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Keep accurate records of inventory, supplier orders, and daily transactions to support smooth operations and stock control.
  • Ensure the dining area, kitchen, and BBQ preparation zones meet hygiene and health standards and remain clean and functional.
  • Interact with customers to gather feedback, handle complaints, and maintain high satisfaction with food and service.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and supervising kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure good teamwork and service quality.
  • Support daily service during busy periods, including greeting guests, taking orders, and helping the team ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the employer

About you:

  •       At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the same field OR
  •       NZQF Level 4 relevant qualification or above, No specific major is required, if the applicant holds a bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
  •        Physically fit with a clear criminal record
