We are a well-established popular restaurant & bar based in Auckland.
The Bar Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the bar's success and contributing to the overall dining experience at the restaurant. To enhance our team, we are now looking for Bar Manager to join our team.
It requires a dynamic and driven individual who can lead a team, drive sales, and maintain high standards of service and quality.
We are expecting someone who has a passion for work, attention to details, ability to multi task and be a proactive member of the team.
- Ideal candidates should have at least 3 years' relevant work experience in the same field or industry,
- OR have a relevant level 4 qualification or above( equivalent overseas qualification or an overseas's occupational certificate can be accepted)
- Must have LCQ license.
You are required to:
- Maintains inventory of liquor, supplies, and equipment.
- Develops and updates drink and food menus in coordination with the restaurant's theme and customer preferences.
- Determines and schedules employee shifts, ensuring adequate coverage for operational needs.
- Ensures the bar is well-stocked, clean, and complies with health and safety regulations.
- Tracks customer behaviour and sales to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Manages budget and monitors costs to optimize profitability.
- Maintains documentation of drink recipes and standard operating procedures.
- Oversees planning and execution of special events and promotions.
- Delegates tasks to staff and ensures effective coordination among team members.
- Selects and purchases liquor and other supplies while maintaining vendor relationships.
- Supervises and trains bar staff, including bartenders, baristas, café workers, and other relevant personnel.
- Utilizes point-of-sale tracking technology and bar management platforms to streamline operations.
