Meat process worker

We are seeking for two Meat process workers for our Butcheries & Fisheries shop in Christchurch .

Job Description

?Processing of offal and tripe
?Packing and loading meats as required and follow production guidelines and specifications. ?Hanging animals on processing hooks
?Shape, lace and tie roasts, using boning knife, skewer and twin
?Prepare animals for processing by removing skin, bones or excess flesh
?Wash down processing rooms
?Working as a team to meet production targets
?Create or acquire labels for each packet by ensuring that type, date of expiry and weight is mentioned
?Maintain processing machinery and other equipment such as knives
?Working on your feet and conducting repetitive movement
?Performing other processing tasks as assigned
Key Requirements:
?You MUST be physically fit , hard worker and able to work in a fast-paced environment ?Able to work night shift and weekend shift is required for this position. Long hours of working require for this position.
?Be Health and Safety Conscious/Comply with all health & Safety regulations
?No experience require as training will be given for the right candidates
?Ability to work within a team

Benefits:
?Weekly pay
?Minimum 30 hours per week

Pay Rate: $ 30.00
You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and undergo a Ministry of Justice criminal background check.
