We are seeking a motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team at a busy Asian restaurant in Havelock North. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the restaurant, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Organise and manage the daily operations of the restaurant.

Supervise, train, and roster front-of-house staff.

Manage stock levels, supplier relationships, and ordering.

Monitor sales, payroll, and operating costs to meet financial targets.

Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and workplace regulations.

Resolve customer enquiries and service issues effectively.

Support promotional activities and manage online delivery platforms.

Liaise with the Head Chef on menu planning and service coordination.

 

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

 

Relevant qualification in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field (at least a Bachelor's degree or above) OR Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in restaurant or hospitality management.

Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Financial literacy, including payroll and budget management.

Knowledge of health and safety, and food hygiene standards.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be physically fit and be able to clear police checks.

Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.

Candidates for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
