We are seeking a motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team at a busy Asian restaurant in Havelock North. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the restaurant, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
l Organise and manage the daily operations of the restaurant.
l Supervise, train, and roster front-of-house staff.
l Manage stock levels, supplier relationships, and ordering.
l Monitor sales, payroll, and operating costs to meet financial targets.
l Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and workplace regulations.
l Resolve customer enquiries and service issues effectively.
l Support promotional activities and manage online delivery platforms.
l Liaise with the Head Chef on menu planning and service coordination.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
l Relevant qualification in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field (at least a Bachelor's degree or above) OR Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
l Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
l Financial literacy, including payroll and budget management.
l Knowledge of health and safety, and food hygiene standards.
l Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
l Must be physically fit and be able to clear police checks.
l Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
