Operating Theatre Registered Nurse (Scrub/Scout) Location: Whangarei, New Zealand
Pay: Up to $52.86/hour (DOE) + excellent benefits
Hours: Permanent, full-time | 8, 9 or 10-hour shifts (Mon–Fri) | Minimal weekends (occasional Saturdays)

What you’ll do
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based perioperative care as a key member of the theatre team (primarily scrub/scout).
  • Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, anaesthetists and MDT colleagues to deliver best-practice outcomes.
  • Maintain sterile technique, complete accurate counts, and document to a high standard.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and a positive, professional team culture.
What you’ll bring
  • NZNC Registered Nurse with a current APC.
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
  • 12+ months recent NZ operating theatre experience (scrub/scout).
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and patient-centred care.
  • A proactive, “can-do” approach and flexibility to pick up additional hours if required.
