Khamphang Limited, T/A GINGER Remuera Thai Restaurant, is located in central Auckland. We are now seeking a Cook to help us deliver top-quality service and delicious food. This is a full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.

 

 

Key tasks and duties include:

  • Preparing and cooking all dishes offered by the restaurant

  • Seasoning food during preparation and cooking, when necessary

  • Monitoring the quality of food at all stages of preparation, cooking, and presentation

  • Assisting in improving and developing dishes

  • Assisting in managing the overall operation of the kitchen

  • Assisting in ordering supplies and stock

  • Ensuring the kitchen operates in compliance with hygiene and safety regulations

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience

  • Familiarity with Thai cuisine

  • Availability to work on weekends when required

  • A can-do attitude and the ability to work well under pressure, especially during peak hours

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and quality in all tasks
