Step into a role where leadership is about people, not paperwork. Be visible. Be hands-on. Be the difference.
Clinical Manager – Tauranga
Full-Time Permanent

Lead With Purpose This role isn’t for someone who prefers a desk and paperwork all day. It’s for a Clinical Leader who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and finds energy in connecting with residents, families, and their team.

As Clinical Manager, you’ll balance oversight with visibility — mentoring your staff, keeping your clinical skills sharp, and ensuring care is delivered with dignity, safety, and heart.

This opportunity is ideal for a senior RN ready to step up, an experienced Clinical Manager seeking a smaller, more personal setting, or a leader who values staying close to the people they serve.

About the Role As Clinical Manager, you’ll:
  • Deliver and oversee person-centred clinical care aligned to best practice.
  • Lead, coach, and support nurses and caregivers to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Lead audits, in-service education, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Build trusted relationships with residents, whānau, and visiting health professionals.
This is a full-time permanent position (40 hours, Monday–Friday) with an early start on Fridays to support the morning routine and connect with your team.

About You You’ll be a visible, approachable leader with a current APC and NZ Nursing Council registration, plus:
  • InterRAI training and competence in clinical assessments
  • Strong knowledge of clinical systems, audits, and quality frameworks
  • Confidence in wound care, medication management, and clinical decision-making
  • A collaborative communication style, engaging residents, families, and staff
  • A track record of implementing quality improvements and mentoring clinical teams
Why This Role Stands Out
  • Health insurance benefits for you, with options for family members
  • Access to a regional and national clinical support network
  • Wellbeing resources including counselling, cultural leave, and lifestyle discounts
  • Paid parental leave: 12 weeks for primary carers, 2 weeks for secondary carers
  • Professional development: in-house training, external opportunities, and Nursing Council-approved PDRP
  • Recognition programmes that celebrate your success
  • An inclusive, values-driven culture where individuality is embraced
