We are looking for 2 x full–time permanent Curry and Tandoor cooks to be part of our team
at Bombay Kitchen Limited. These positions require working on weekends.
You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours/week and a maximum of 45
hours/week.

-     Good knowledge of Indian spices, seasoning, and garnish preferred.
 
Qualification/Work Experience
At least three years of work experience with Indian cuisine is required. Qualification is not
necessary.
Your daily task will include-

·       Preparing and cooking authentic Indian foods and curries as per client
requirements.
·       Operating Tandoor oven and making food and bread in it.
·       Control and expertise on Indian spices, seasoning, and garnishing,
controlling, and adjusting the temperature of cooking equipment.
·       Preparation and presentation of tandoori items and curries.
·       Follow the recipes and ensure that the food is cooked and seasoned as
instructed by the chef.
·       Advise the chef about the stock and supplies of the kitchen.
·       Refrigeration and storing of the raw and cooked food items at the correct
temp.
·       Ensuring the quality of the foodstuffs.

·       Preparing the food to meet the specific dietary requirement of the
customers.
·       Discuss preparation of the food with the chef and other staff as required.
·       Assist the chef in planning bulk menu or catering orders, if required.
·       Maintain and follow all the health and safety standards as per the
government regulations.
·       Assist the chef in training other staff if required.
