The location for this role is The Ranch Bar & Grill 111 Town Centre Te Anau Fiordland. This role is ideally nights with some day/split shifts. A busy bar & restaurant serving both locals and tourists now for 30 strong years. A great team of staff on board operating in a fun & busy environment.

 

An option for either full time or part time roles available with competitive earnings for the right candidate with the following attributes:

* Experience in restaurant roles and/or customer service roles/teamleading.  

 

 

Job Description entails:  

  • Cleaning of designated areas in  accordance with procedures morning/evening routines  and hygiene requirements 
  • Serving drinks to customers both over the bar and to the table. Checking customer identification around serving of alcohol and entering gaming area 
  • Greet customers professionally 
  • Assist customers with both food and beverage selection with presentation of  menu explaining daily specials answering food & drink questions 
  • Take customer orders in a pleasant and efficient manner 
  • Serve food & beverages in accordance with agreed procedures but above all in a professional courteous manner. 
  • Help restocking & ordering of stock on daily basis 
  • Ensure customers are correctly charged  present the bill and take payment from the customers in accordance with the procedures of the establishment 
  • Participate in fire or evacuation drills and ensure complete familiarization with all exits
  • Be aware of and continually maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress. 
  • Report any problems to the Restaurant Manager or Duty Manager 
  • Adhere to sanitation safety and alcohol control policies
