Kabana Indian Cuisine, Auckland is looking for 2x experienced Cook to fill a full-time
permanent position. You will be guaranteed 30 hours per week between the hours of 11:30
am to 10:30 pm Monday to Sunday. We offer competitive wage between $28 - $30 per hour
based on your skills and experience.
Requirements:
Certificate in Food Science/ Hospitality Management or any other relevant
qualification will be considered OR
2 years’ of relevant work experience in Indian cuisine is mandatory in absence of
qualification.
Strong knowledge of Indian recipes & spices
Team player, reliable, honest & flexible with shifts
Key responsibilities:
Cook authentic Indian curries, breads, and tandoor dishes
Maintain food quality and hygiene standards
Assist with menu planning & stock control
Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen premises to high standards
Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including food preparation, and
dish plating.
Ensuring compliance with food hygiene, health and safety regulations
