You’ll play an integral role in a multi-disciplinary team committed to delivering evidence-based, person-centred care, while also mentoring and supporting junior staff. This is a dynamic and rewarding role offering flexible shifts, career progression, and purpose-driven work.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering expert clinical care in a high-acuity ICU setting
- Supporting, guiding, and mentoring Registered, Enrolled, Graduate, and Student Nurses
- Managing portfolios aligned with the 8 National Safety & Quality Health Standards
- Contributing to staff education and performance development
- Acting in charge and stepping into Clinical Manager duties as needed
- Documenting and reporting patient care in line with quality standards
- Promoting a positive, collaborative, and culturally safe team environment
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in an Intensive/Critical Care Unit
- Postgraduate qualification in Intensive or Critical Care Nursing
- Strong clinical leadership and mentoring abilities
- Advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Resilience under pressure and excellent clinical judgment
- A collaborative, respectful, and compassionate approach to care
- Full eligibility to work in Australia
