Working alongside the Facility Manager, you’ll provide vision, direction, and mentorship to your clinical and care teams, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy.

What You’ll Do
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to nursing and care teams
- Oversee resident care and clinical governance, ensuring compliance with sector standards
- Support the Facility Manager with site operations and step in during their absence
- Monitor and maintain clinical documentation in line with legislative and organisational requirements
- Drive Quality & Risk Management programmes, embedding continuous improvement
- Mentor staff, deliver education programmes, and champion safe working practices
- Current NZ RN Annual Practising Certificate
- 3–5 years’ post-registration experience, ideally in aged care
- Proven ability to mentor and lead clinical teams
- Strong skills in clinical governance, decision-making, and analysis
- Experience with interRAI, Medi-Map, or eCase (advantageous)
- Solid knowledge of health and disability standards
- Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Compassion and empathy — with a genuine commitment to resident wellbeing
