As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and organising daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of front-of-house and back-of-house staff.

  • Monitoring quality of food and service, and addressing customer feedback.

  • Managing stock control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cost efficiency.

  • Recruiting, training, and rostering staff as required.

  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.

  • Developing and implementing marketing or promotional activities to boost business growth.

  • Preparing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring cost-effective operations.

Skills and Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Either a relevant qualification such as a diploma or degree in hospitality OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.

  • Ability to manage staff performance and foster a positive team environment.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
