- Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
- Hours: Average 32 hours per week
- Shift Time: Rotating between Mornings, Afternoons and Nights
- Roster Pattern: 4 days on, 2 days off (6-weekly roster across Monday - Sunday)

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Registered Nurse (Level 7) with at least 2 years of clinical experience (aged care highly desirable) to join our dedicated team. This is more than a role - it's a leadership position where you'll set the standard of care for residents and mentor caregivers to deliver excellence every day.
You'll be trusted to:
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care within your professional scope of practice.
- Complete, update, and review individualised care plans using the InterRAI assessment tool.
- Monitor and evaluate care outcomes, ensuring dignity, respect, and cultural responsiveness.
- Lead, supervise, and support caregivers to deliver high-quality resident care.
- Safely manage medication processes and clinical documentation.
- Communicate openly with residents, families/whānau, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Promote risk reduction, safety, and emergency preparedness for residents and staff.
- Support continuous quality improvement (CQI) through audits, training, and preceptorship.
- A current New Zealand APC (Annual Practising Certificate) with the Nursing Council.
- A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience, ideally in aged care or hospital settings.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and medication management skills.
- Compassion, resilience, and the ability to lead by example.
- Confidence in coaching, mentoring, and performance management of caregiving staff.
- Commitment to professional growth, continuous learning, and CQI.
- Up to $54 per hour depending on experience.
