Airport Taxi and Car Rental Limited is seeking a two drivers to driver our company vehicle in Auckland Regison in full-time permanent positionswith a minimum of 30 hours per week.  You will be paid between $35 to $45 per hour depending upon your qualification, skills and experience

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and play a key role in delivering excellent service to our customers. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate vehicles safely and efficiently to transport passengers or deliver rental vehicles to designated locations.

    • Use mobile computer systems and radio networks to log in, manage passenger bookings, and coordinate vehicle movements.

    • Pick up passengers from designated locations, taxi ranks, or when hailed, and transport them to their requested destinations.

    • Plan and determine the most appropriate routes for passenger transport or vehicle delivery using navigation systems and local knowledge.

    • Assist passengers with luggage and provide basic instructions on vehicle features and operation.

    • Collect fares, process payments, and issue receipts where applicable.

    • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles, checking fuel levels, cleanliness, tyres, lights, and general condition.

    • Refuel, clean, and return vehicles to the branch or depot after use.

    • Report any vehicle damage, maintenance issues, or incidents to the branch manager or fleet supervisor.

    • Maintain accurate logs of vehicle movements, mileage, fuel usage, and service requirements.

    • Provide courteous customer service, addressing enquiries, resolving complaints, and offering assistance to ensure a positive experience.

    • May collect and deliver parcels or small items as required.

    • Ensure vehicles and goods are transported in safe and secure conditions, adhering to traffic laws, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies.

    • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards at all times.

    • Flexible to work int he weekends. 

Requirement:

Class 1 NZ Driving Licence or quallent if overseas
