At Distinction Dunedin Hotel, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences from the moment they arrive.
We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and proactive Hotel Porter to join our front-of-house team and be the welcoming face of our hotel.
Working shifts on a 7 day roster including weekends and public holidays.
Previous experience not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and assist with luggage upon arrival and departure
- Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel facilities and services
- Assist with deliveries and ensure the lobby and entrance areas remain tidy
- Provide support to all departments as needed
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful manner at all times
About You:
- A positive and approachable attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to lift luggage safely
- Well-presented with a strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in hospitality is an advantage, but full training will be provided
- Able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
