We are currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. The role guarantees a minimum of 30 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours based on operational needs.

We're on the hunt for a hands-on, experienced Restaurant Manager to take the reins of our Istanbul Kebab Restaurant in the Heart of Kawakawa. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building strong team culture, improving systems, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You'll oversee all aspects of Restaurant operations, including the front and back of house.

  • Full responsibility for day-to-day operations
  • Maintain a tight, collaborative team culture, and ensure all staff absences are covered.
  • ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
  • organize food and beverage events, promotions and advertising.
  • Manage stock control, maintenance, sales reporting, and training schedules.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team respectfully and constructively.
  • ensure food is prepared and cooked to set companyspecification
  • Assisting in planning menus, estimating food and labour costs.
  • Support marketing efforts and promotions to drive new and repeat customers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative and growth-minded.
