Baker wanted

Deri Trading Ltd is based in Auckland. We are now looking for multiple experienced bakers to join us. This is a full time role with minmum 30 hour per week

 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Prepare and bake bread, rolls, buns, and cakes, to support our business operation

 

Tasks Include:

  • Conduct the task to check the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure
  • Compliance with occupational health and safety regulations during operation.
  • Conduct the task to check the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
  • Conduct the task to knead, mature, cut, mould, mix and shape dough and pastry goods
  • Conduct the task to prepare pastry/other fillings
  • Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to meet products standard.
  • Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products
  • Conduct the task to empty clean and grease baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment

 

The successful candidate must have:

  • Minimum one years of relevant working experience
  • Good work attitude and good communication skills
  • Strong motivation
  • Physical fitness and the ability to handle the heavy workload
  • Quality workmanship and eye for detail
  • Strong dedication to health and workplace safety
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with other team members.
  • Strong ability to work independently
