We are looking for Thai Traditional Massage Therapists to join our team - male and female.

  • This is a permanent role.
  • Fulltime, with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week. 
  • Work days will include weekends and public holidays.
  • You will be based in central Wellington, on Cuba St, Te Aro.
  • Generous renumeration ranging from $30 - $40 per hour.
  • Applicant will have at least 2 years relevant experience OR a Certificate in Thai Massage.

The job will require

  • Assessing and treating clients for "soft tissue dysfunction" and 
  • Assessing the client's physical condition and history, to determine a suitable massage treatment.
  • Perform therapeutic massage  and monitor the pressure used for the client's comfort. Massaging the soft tissues, muscles, tendons and ligaments to assist relaxation, improve circulation, relieve muscle tension and/or healing.
  • Provide advice on posture, stretching exercises, relaxation techniques and give rehabilitation advice.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the massage working areas.
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene in the storage and preparation of massage materials.
  • Use other Thai massage techniques and complementary aids and essential oils, as required.
  • Follow all company safety procedures. 
  • The successful applicant will have good communication and customer service skills.   
  • Must be able to work on weekend and public holidays, as these are our busiest times.
  • Hourly rate includes 8% Holiday Pay.
