Chefs Job duties of the position offered–
- Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
- Preparing and cooking food
- Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
- May select and train staff
- May freeze and preserve foods
Requirements of the position offered -
- Either minimum 1 year of work experience, or relevant level 2 or 3 qualification
- Be available to work on weekends and public holidays as per the roster
- Flexibility to work within a 7-Days a week operation including split shifts
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with good communication skills and team spirit
Cook Job duties of the position offered–
- Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality - Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment - Seasoning food during cooking - Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes - Storing food in temperature controlled facilities - Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements - May plan menus and estimate food requirements - May train other kitchen staff and apprentices - Preparing and cooking food Requirements of the position offered -
- Either minimum 1 year of work experience, or relevant level 2 or 3 qualification

Kitchen Hand duties of the position offered–
-Wash utensils, dishes and return to the kitchen and make sure they are stored appropriately.
-Clean food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas.
-packing food and beverage trays for serving
-Dispose of rubbish.
-Follow all hygiene and Health and Safety regulations within the kitchen. Food Preparation
-Assist the Chef in the preparation and cooking of food, as required.
-Follow direction toward portion control, cooking standards and wastage
-Maintain a positive and motivated work ethic in the kitchen at all times.
-Handle, sort, store and distribute food items.
-Follow instructions from the Chef or nominee.
-Any other duties the employer may reasonably require.
Requirements of the position offered - This role is an entry level position with no qualifications, skills and experience required as all training will be provided on the job.
