We are looking for a hardworking candidate for the role of Restaurant Manager in
Christchurch. It is a full-time permanent role with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per
week, and we are looking for someone whom we can rely on.

The candidate must be able to work but not limited to:


 Must hold LCQ and Manager’s License to manage a high-performing team
 Run smooth operations of the restaurant. Juggling great service, training and
rostering your team, planning for future growth, is all in a day’s work
 Must be able to plan the menus to be served in the restaurant in consultation with
the chefs.
 Organize events and functions, make proper plans and arrangements for the
gathering
 Manage purchases and pricing with the suppliers and carefully prepare a budget
for optimal profit
 Maintain accurate records of stock levels
 Manage financial transactions of the restaurants and maintain good record-
keeping
 Having discussions with the customers to assess if the customers are satisfied
with the meals and services provided
 Value customer feedback and develop strategies for continuous improvements
 Assuring that the dining facilities meet the health and safety regulations
 Ensure that everything is clean, functional and of suitable/presentable
appearance.
 Select and train the waiting and kitchen staff along with supervising the staff.
 May be required to take the reservations/bookings.
 Must greet the guests and assist them in taking orders when required.


Required skills :
 Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
 Demonstrate leadership in managing staff groups and major events
 Excellent interpersonal skills with the willingness to be a team player
 Commitment to get the job done
 Minimum Level 5 qualification OR two years of relevant work experience

The successful candidate must have a clean driving and criminal record.
