Life in South Taranaki is calling! An award winning general practice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the team, and become part of the family. 

This role is either full time, or they're also open to Monday, Thursday and Friday part time work weeks. This role is onsite, and the hours are business hours only. No late nights or weekends. 

As a core member of the practice, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive, patient-centred, and culturally appropriate care to enrolled patients.

Your expertise and commitment will contribute to the well-being of individuals and their families, ensuring that they receive primary care in a professional, friendly, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver primary care services to individuals and the community.
  • Collaborate closely with the nursing and GP teams, offering clinical guidance, assistance, education, and support.
  • Foster an environment where patients feel treated with professionalism, care, and courtesy. 

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

  • NCNZ registration as a Nurse Practitioner with current APC and prescribing authority.

  • Ideally some expereince working within a primary care setting.

  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
