This is a full time role with a minimum of 30 hours gauranteed.

The Fast Food Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving fast-food items in accordance with company recipes, hygiene standards, and service expectations. The role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook fast food items such as burgers, sandwiches, wraps, fried foods, and beverages according to standard recipes and portion sizes.

  • Operate grills, deep fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Assemble and present food orders accurately and promptly to maintain quick service delivery.

  • Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the kitchen and food preparation areas in line with health and safety regulations.

  • Check and replenish stock and ingredients as required, ensuring proper storage and labeling.

  • Follow food safety protocols, including temperature checks, cross-contamination prevention, and proper waste disposal.

  • Support the team in maintaining workflow during busy periods and assist in training new kitchen staff when required.

  • Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures at all times.

    Skills and Experience Required:

    • At least 6 months  of relevant experience in the food industry is desired.

    • Sound knowledge of food preparation, handling, and hygiene standards.

    • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a busy kitchen environment.

    • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

    • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
