Store Manager – Turkish Kebabs (Queenstown)
Turkish Kebabs is one of the busiest takeaway restaurants in Queenstown. We are open 7 days a week, from 10:00 am until 5:00 am the following day, also serving late-night customers. Our restaurant can seat around 20 dine-in patrons, in addition to offering takeaway and delivery services.
We are currently looking for a Store Manager to organize and coordinate all administrative and operational duties in our restaurant. Minimum of 30h/week guaranteed.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will report directly to the restaurant owners and will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant, including managing reservations and following up on UberEATS and Delivereasy orders.
- Preparing budgets and liaising with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained. Maintaining records and documentation for accounting purposes.
- Ensuring the restaurant complies with all health and safety regulations and maintains a clean, functional, and professional appearance while upholding service standards.
- Engaging with customers to assess satisfaction with products and services.
- Managing marketing activities and social media accounts.
- Developing and implementing advertising and promotional strategies to enhance customer loyalty.
- Overseeing staff rostering and managing leave applications and approvals.
Requirements
The applicant:
- Should have at least 1 year of full-time experience in a similar position, or
- Should hold a relevant qualification (Level 5 or higher).
- Must be able to work on weekends and late night shifts (the store operates 7 days a week, 10:00 am – 5.00 am next day).
- Must have good knowledge of MS Office programs.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
