Eterna Café will shortly opening on victoria street Hamilton , a vibrant café committed to offering high-quality, fresh, creative cuisine in a warm and friendly setting. We source local ingredients and pride ourselves on customer experience and excellence in food.

Key Responsibilities 

·         Organize and control the operations of the café (staff, customer service, finances, supply chain)

·      Plan menus in consultation with chefs, coordinate specials, ensure consistency and quality

·         Manage purchasing, inventory, and pricing to meet budgetary goals and margin targets

·         Recruit, train, supervise, and performance-manage staff (kitchen, baristas, front-of-house)

·         Monitor staff rosters, labor costs, and productivity

·     Ensure café complies with all health, safety, licensing and food hygiene regulations

·         Handle customer issues, ensure high levels of service and customer satisfaction

·  Maintain financial records, analyze sales performance, prepare reports and forecasts

·         Promote marketing activities, social media engagement, events, and community partnerships

 Requirements / Qualifications

 ü  A relevant qualification of level 5,— or at least 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar role 

ü  Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills 

ü  Ability to multitask, think strategically, and make decisions under pressure 

ü  Familiarity with food safety, licensing, health regulations
