Job Details:

Location: Auckland

Position: Restaurant Manager

Term: Permanent full time position

Wage: $33.65-$35.00 per hour

Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week, Maximum 50 hours per week, shifted by

                           roster from Monday to Sunday

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification at a Diploma level or higher, which is a recognised equivalent to a New Zealand qualification; Or have at least 2 year relevant working experiences.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Physically well to work under pressure during peak meal time.

  • Follow all hygiene and Health and Safety regulations 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and plan menus in collaboration with our Chef.

  • Organise and planning special events and functions.

  • Manage purchasing and pricing of goods in line with budget requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and financial transactions.

  • Ensure all dining areas meet health and safety standards, and are clean, functional, and visually appealing.

  • Engage with customers to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction with meals and service.

  • Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff.

  • Take reservations, greet guests, and support order-taking as needed.

  • Assist with other duties as required by the business
