About the Opportunity

This well-established care home and village community is entering an exciting phase of change.

With upcoming refurbishments, growth, and future development projects on the horizon, we’re seeking a Village Manager with deep aged-care experience, exceptional relationship skills, and the strength to lead confidently through transformation.

You’ll oversee the overall village operations while the Care Home is managed by a dedicated Care Manager. You’ll also have the support of a skilled Maintenance Manager, Kitchen Manager, and regional leadership team.

This is a role for a steady hand — someone who knows the rhythm of village life, can balance care with commercial, and who leads people through change with clarity and compassion.

What you’ll be doing

As the Retirement Village Manager, you’ll bring leadership, consistency, and composure to a community that values quality care and genuine connection.

You will:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the village and care home in partnership with your Care Manager
  • Lead and develop your team — inspiring commitment through communication, stability, and recognition
  • Manage refurbishment and maintenance projects, ensuring minimal disruption to residents
  • Build trusted, transparent relationships with residents and their families
  • Maintain occupancy, financial performance, and compliance with all standards
  • Drive cultural alignment and guide your team through continuous improvement
  • Balance empathy and efficiency — leading from the floor, not behind a desk

Who you are

You’re not new to this. You’ve led aged-care teams before and know what great looks like — clinically, culturally, and commercially.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven leadership experience in aged-care or retirement village management (essential)
  • A relationship-centred leadership style with genuine warmth and professionalism
  • A strong ownership mindset — comfortable making decisions and driving accountability
