Busy Indian Street Food Truck in Auckland requires a Manager. The Manager ensures that food truck operates efficiently and profitably. The role is responsible for the business performance of the truck, as well as maintaining high standards of food, service, and health and safety.

Responsibilities will include:


Taking responsibility for the business performance of the food truck
Analysing and planning the trucks sales levels and profitability
Organising local marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes
Preparing reports at the end of the shift and week, including staff control, food control and sales
Creating and executing plans for sales, profit and staff development
Coordinating the entire operation of the food truck during scheduled shifts
Managing staff and providing them with feedback
Responding to customer complaints
Recruiting, training and motivating staff
Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
Checking stock levels and ordering supplies

Negotiating with suppliers

Planning menus, introduce new menu items
Cash handling

Make sure the truck is cleaned daily at the end of shift

Solve business or staff problems as and when required

Qualifications/experience required

Diploma or above in business or management 

At least 1 years’ experience in retail and/or hospitality

At least 1 years’ experience as a supervisor
