We are looking for a Cafe Manager in a full time permanent role for our recently opened cafe in Wellington. The role is for min 30 hours per week to max 45 hours per week. Weekends are busy days for us. The pay range is min $30 per hour to $37 per hour.

 

Position description

  • Planning menus in consultation with Chefs, we introduce a variety of changes in our cuisine and expect you to have regular consultations with the chef along with some research
  •  Organise and plan functions
  •  Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
  • Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
  • Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
  • Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
  • Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff and assist in taking orders

Requirements

  • Must have three years of relevant work experience in a cafe/restaurant environment or a Level 5 Diploma in Hospitality
  • Must be a NZ citizen/resident or someone with valid work rights
