• Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Checking ingredients to make sure the quality and freshness
  • Preparing and Cooking food in various utensils and grillers
  • Seasoning, portioning, adding sauces to the food during/after cooking
  • Preparing food to meet client’s taste and dietary needs
  • Arrange food on plates or wrap it to be taken away
  • Storing and reserving food
  • Assisting in planning menus, estimating food and labour costs
  • Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
  • Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of machines before each run, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Assisting with training and coordinating with junior cooks or kitchen hands, as requested by Chef

To be successful you will need to:

  • Have at least 2 years’ work experience in the same industry/field, OR
  • Have a relevant level 4 qualification or equivalent certificates.
  • Have a "can-do" attitude and team Spirit
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
