Job Advertisement – Baker (Full-time)

Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Position: Baker (Full-time, Permanent)
Pay Rate: $27.00–$29.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours of Work: Minimum 30 hours per week

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Baker to join our team in Auckland. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and producing a range of baked goods to a consistent and high standard.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparing, mixing, shaping, and baking dough and pastry products

• Operating bakery equipment safely and efficiently

• Monitoring baking process, including temperature, timing, and quality

• Maintaining a clean work environment and following food safety standards

• Assisting with stock rotation and inventory as required

• Ensuring all products meet company quality standards

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

• Hold a formal bakery qualification (e.g., Certificate in Baking or equivalent), OR

• Have at least 2 years of full-time work experience as a baker

Additional requirements:

• Ability to work early mornings or shifts as required

• Understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
