We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Car Groomer motivated and committed person to join our business in Palmerston north. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hrs per week with a pay rate $24-$30 per hour.

Your task includes:

  • Washing, drying, polishing, and waxing vehicle exteriors and windows
  • Vacuuming interior of the vehicle, machine buffing, paint correction, dry-cleaning carpets and upholstery
  • Brushing, de-greasing, steaming, shampooing, washing, water blasting, wheels & engine bay detailing, signage & tints removal
  • Washing tyres and wheel arches
  • Cleaning compartments in vehicles
  • Maintaining the tools, stocking up the shelves, keeping the working areas clean & other responsible tasks.

Essential skills and attributes required:

  • Reliable, responsible work ethic
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong initiative and willingness to 'pitch in' around the business
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in doing a job to a very high standard
  • Will be working as per roster
  • Vehicle grooming/detailing experience is welcomed
  • No specific qualification- ready to train the right applicant
