Job Title: Service Manager – Cleaning Services
Job Type: Full-Time Location: Auckland
Minimum & maximum work per week: 30- 40
Working days: Monday to Friday, rotating roster between 8:00 AM to 3:00PM
Pay range: $25.00 to $35.00
About the Role:
We require 1 Service Manager within our cleaning who is able to leads business management and staff development, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
Service manager will be also responsible for budgeting, quality control, and compliance with safety regulations, fosters strong client and supplier relationships while driving continuous improvement within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction for the cleaning services team, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
· Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the cleaning team.
· Oversee daily operations of cleaning services to ensure efficient service delivery and maximum client satisfaction.
· Develop and manage the annual budget for cleaning operations, monitor financial performance, and optimize resource allocation to enhance profitability.
· Implement quality control measures to assess service delivery standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and client expectations.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, proactively addressing issues and responding to feedback to ensure a high level of service satisfaction.
· Establish and enforce safety protocols and procedures that comply with local regulations, promoting a safe work environment for employees and clients.
· Identify and implement improvements in service delivery processes, operational efficiency, and productivity to reduce costs and enhance service quality.
· Prepare and present reports on operational performance, service efficiency, and customer satisfaction to director.
· Manage and resolve disputes or conflicts within the team or between staff and clients, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
· Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the procurement of quality cleaning supplies and equipment at competitive prices.
· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform service offerings and market positioning, contributing to the strategic planning of the business.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or in the cleaning or facilities sector (minimum 2 years preferred) OR
- Have Level 5 or higher qualification OR any major bachelor degree
- Hands-on experience with residential and/or commercial cleaning
- Strong understanding of OH&S procedures and cleaning best practices
- Ability to lead by example and work alongside the team when required
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Mobile phone with internet/data access
- Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call as operational needs require
