Duty Manager – Hong Kong Cuisine & Bar (Queenstown, Otago) Full-Time Position Hong Kong Cuisine & Bar, located in the heart of Queenstown, is seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverages Duty Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this key role, you will help ensure the smooth, efficient, and high-quality operation of our restaurant and bar services.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily front-of-house operations across the restaurant and bar 

Supervise and coordinate servers, bartenders, and F&B staff

Maintain exceptional standards of customer service and guest satisfaction

Manage inventory, place supply orders, and monitor cost control

Address customer concerns and resolve operational issues promptly Implement and uphold company policies, procedures, and service standards

Work closely with other department managers to deliver a seamless guest experience

 

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar food and beverage management role, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry

Strong leadership, supervisory, and people-management abilities

Excellent customer service mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of liquor licensing laws and food safety regulations

A valid Duty Manager Certificate

While bilingual candidates are preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement.
