We are looking for an Operations Manager (Manufacturing) in Auckland. This is a
full time permanent position with a minimum of 30 hours a week. Overtime will
be provided if available. We are offering competitive hourly wages of $36 to $40.
Key Job Responsibilities
Managing daily food production to meet targets for output, quality, cost,
and timeliness.
Direct the use of physical resources, including equipment, ingredients, and
packaging materials, to ensure efficient production flow.
Control production processes by monitoring output, adjusting workflows,
managing labour allocation, and addressing bottlenecks.
Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including task allocation, training,
performance monitoring, and adherence to operating procedures.
Ensure full compliance with food safety standards (FSSAI/HACCP),
hygiene protocols, and workplace health and safety regulations.
Monitor production costs, material usage, and labour efficiency to optimise
operations and reduce waste.
Coordinate procurement, inventory management, and stock control of raw
materials, consumables, and packaging to maintain uninterrupted
production.
Oversee quality control to ensure all products meet company standards for
taste, texture, hygiene, and packaging.
Maintain accurate production records, reports, schedules, and
documentation.
Liaise with stakeholders, production staff and company stores to meet
production targets.
Implement process improvements, new production methods, and
equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain
product quality.
Prepare and verify invoices, GRNs, delivery notes, and route plans.
Maintain logs for vehicle movement, trip completion, and dispatch reports.

Candidate requirement
The applicant must have at least 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience in the food manufacturing industry and understanding of food
safety standards (FSSAI/HACCP)
