We are looking for a cook to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will use their 
culinary skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ 
satisfaction through helping the kitchen team.

Pay Rate: $29.00–$35.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Responsibilities
• Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
• Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
• Preparing and cooking food
• Seasoning food during cooking
• Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
• Storing food in temperature controlled facilities
• Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
• May help plan menus and estimate food requirements
• May help train other kitchen staff and apprentices
• Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
• Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements and skills
• 3 years + of experience as a cook
• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Familiar with industry’s best practices
