We are looking for a Front Office & Guest Relations Manager to join us in Lake Tekapo, Canterbury.
This is a full-time permanent role with guaranteed 30 hours per week.
You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the front office and reservations departments, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and maximising revenue.
This role involves managing staff, handling guest inquiries, coordinating reservations and implementing policies and procedures. A full job description will be provided to the suitable candidates.
You will also work alongside with our Reservations and Guest Service Manager as you may from time to time cover each other on your days off and leave.
To be qualified for this role, you need to demonstrate:
- At least 3-year experience in hospitality industry, or holding a tertiary qualification in business or management.
- Demonstrating strong leadership and management skills.
- Proficiency in front office software.
- Knowledge of revenue management principles.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fast learner with positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours and throughout weekends/holidays.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity
