We are looking for an experienced Cook to join our team. This is a full-time position for skilled individual who is passionate about food, efficient in the kitchen, and able to manage daily operations to a high standard.

Position-Cook

Location - Rotorua, Bay of Plenty

Working Hours- 30 to 40 per week

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality check ingredients and prepared products to be used during service
2. Follow recipes accurately
3. Prepare food using various appliances and equipment
4. Maintain a clean, safe and sanitized work area
5. Organize equipment, utensils and other tools prior to service
6. Participate in the garnishing and presentation of dishes
7. Oversee opening and closing duties for each assigned shift
8. Clean and sanitise work areas

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Cook or a Kitchenhand in Commercial Kitchen OR NZQA Level 4 Cookery qualification

What We Offer:

Full-time position minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed

Wage: $30 ~ $35 per hour (with entitlements in line with NZ standards, including holiday pay, sick leave, and public holidays)
