Kiara & Virat 2022 Enterprises Limited, trading as Pauly’s Diner, is seeking a Store Manager to join their team in Taupō, Waikato Region. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional with strong leadership and communication skills, responsible fo managing fast food takeaway operations, supervising staff, and ensuring consistent, high- quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the fast-food takeaway store to ensure efficient workflow and smooth service.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to plan fast-food menu items, review pricing, and ensure profitability based on cost and market demand.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff, providing regular feedback and performance management.
- Handle customer queries and complaints promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Greet customers, manage takeaway orders, and support front-of-house operations when required.
- Organise and supervise staff rosters, adjusting schedules to meet business needs.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations relevant to fast-food operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across the store, including dining and service areas.
- Inspect food deliveries, equipment, and storage areas to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders for supplies, and maintain accurate inventory and wastage records.
- Monitor cost of goods sold, reduce waste, and implement cost-control measures to maximise profitability.
- Manage cash handling procedures, reconcile daily takings, and track sales against operational costs.
- Process and analyse operational data to support performance reporting, scheduling, and business decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records related to inventory, health and safety, and operational compliance.
You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 and $35 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
Other Important Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience or a Level 5 or above qualification.
- Availability to work on weekends and late shifts as required.
