Restaurant Manager

Jasmine Thai Cuisine is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join the team.

• This is a permanent role.
• Full time, with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week.
• Our business hours are Tuesday to Sunday, between 11am - 14.30pm and 16.00pm - 21.00p, with shifts rostered across these days and hours.
• Remuneration $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Organise, manage, and oversee the daily operations of the Thai restaurant.
• Select, train, supervise, and support front-of-house and kitchen staff as required.
• Prepare and manage staff rosters, ensuring adequate coverage and smooth workflow.
• Oversee staff training and development to maintain authentic Thai service standards and improve overall performance.
• Work closely with the chef to plan, review, and update Thai menu offerings, including seasonal dishes and specials.
• Coordinate and set up special events such as Thai festivals, private functions, or promotional nights.
• Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety regulations, the Food Control Plan, and Food Hygiene Regulations by maintaining clean, safe, and functional restaurant facilities.
• Maintain optimal stock levels by ordering food ingredients, beverages, and supplies.
• Source authentic Thai ingredients and quality products at competitive prices to maintain profitable margins.
• Keep accurate records of stock levels, purchases, expenses, and financial transactions.
• Monitor customer satisfaction by checking in with guests and responding to feedback regarding food and service.
• Manage table bookings, warmly greet guests, and assist with taking orders when needed.
• Perform any other lawful and reasonable duties requested by the employer.

The successful applicant will:

•  Have at least 2 years of relevant experience
•  Have a Manager's Certificate
•  Good communication and customer service skills
•  Must be able to work on weekend and public holiday as this are our busiest times.
