Maruti Solution Limited is seeking a skilled and reliable Cook to join their team in Hamilton, Waikato. The successful candidate will assist in preparing and cooking menu items, maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations to deliver consistent quality and service.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and company standards.

• Measure and assemble ingredients required for daily food preparation.

• Organise and complete food preparation tasks efficiently, especially during busy periods.

• Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and warmers safely and efficiently. 

• Portion and plate dishes consistently, maintaining quality and timely service.

• Store food correctly, monitor stock levels, and assist with inventory rotation and reporting shortages.

• Adapt meals to accommodate dietary requirements or customer preferences when needed.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

• Support training of new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and hygiene practices.

• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, ensuring sanitation standards are consistently met.

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $30 per hour

Other requirements for the role:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant cooking experience, or a Level 4 qualification in a related field.
• Availability to work weekends and evenings as required.
• Physically able to stand and be active for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks e ectively in a fast-paced environment.
