Maru Solu on Limited is seeking responsible and capable two Store Managers to join their team in the Waikato region. Each Store Manager will lead operations at one of our two stores, both of which are located within the same region. They will take full responsibility for the daily running of the site, ensuring smooth operations, outstanding customer service, and the highest standards of performance and presentation across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily store operations to ensure efficient service, smooth workflows, and overall profitability.

• Plan and maintain product range, stock levels, and service standards in line with customer needs and business goals.

• Establish and implement store policies, procedures, and food safety measures to ensure consistency and compliance.

• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff while monitoring performance to maintain high service quality.

• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, food hygiene, and other relevant standards.

• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor sales performance, and allocate resources effectively to control costs.

• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, restocking, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure an adequate supply of fresh products.

• Develop and adjust pricing strategies to achieve target margins while staying competitive and responsive to market trends.

• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.

• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and staff presence at high standards.

• Support marketing and promotional activities, including daily specials and seasonal campaigns, to increase customer engagement and sales.

• Lead and motivate the team by setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and recognising performance.

The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $28 to $35 per hour.

Other requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience or a minimum relevant Level 5 qualification.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Physically able to stand and be active throughout the shift.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
