Delamore Support Services Ltd is a non government organisation providing quality mental health and disability Housing and Recovery Support that assists people in their journey towards recovery in the Auckland and Waitemata district health board regions. Services are residential based.

 

Full Time 32-40 Hours , Permanent Staff Needed!

We are seeking workers accross various levels ranging from entry level positions to those holding at least 3 years of experience, or a level 3 or 4 certificate in Mental Health and Well-Being.

L0 - entry level
L2 - level 2 certificate in Health and Well-Being (mental health strand preferred)
L3 - level 3 certificate in Health and Well-Being (mental health strand preferred)
L4 - 3 years of experience, or a level 4 certificate in Health and Well-Being (mental health strand preferred), or other higher relevant qualification.

YOU MUST :

  • Be Punctual and Reliable 
  • Hold a current workplace first aid certificate (negotiable if you need to complete the course
  • Be ready to start orientation as soon as possible 
  • Work well independently 
  • Be capable of preparing large meals for large groups 
  • Be flexible and adaptable 
  • Have a valid vaccine passport 

KEY TASKS :

  • Help tāngata whai ora maintain their physical , emotional , and spiritual well-being , supporting thier everyday tasks like hygiene , cooking , cleaning , budgeting , shopping , work and recreation
  • Ensure tāngata whai ora can access local community services and support when needed
  • Deliver top quality care in a way that respects tāngata whai ora independence
  • Work alongside doctors , community groups , mental health teams and whanau to support tāngata whai ora
  • Ensure tāngata whai ora are aware of thier rights and that those rights are respected
  • Stay up to date with ongiong learning , training, and professional development

Please note that pay rates are dependent on prior experience and/or qualification as per The Ministry of Health pay equity scheme and will range between $23.50 - $29.10 per hour
