Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct initial health and wellness assessments, including lifestyle, stress levels, and general physical condition
  • Collect and review client health information in accordance with privacy and healh
    safety requirements
  • Identify suitable natural remedies and wellness approaches based on individual needs
  • Provide advice on natural remedies, herbal products, aromatherapy, and wellnes programs
  • Support non-invasive, complementary therapies aligned with spa services
  • Monitor client responses and adjust recommendations where appropriate
  • Apply Advanced Care Level 4 knowledge in health support, hygiene, and wellbeing monitoring
  • Follow health and safety standards, infection control, and risk management procedures
  • Recognise situations that require referral to medical or allied health professionals
  • Educate clients on preventative health care, stress management, and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Promote long-term wellness rather than medical treatment claims
  • Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards
  • Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes
  • Comply with company policies, health regulations, and industry best practices
  • Support audits or inspections if required

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

  • NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification 
  • At least one year relevant working experience
  • Understanding of health support practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Client-focused mindset with attention to safety and ethics
