Position: Hygiene Manager
Location: Auckland
Employment Type: Full-Time (Minimum 30 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $31.00 – $34.00 per hour


Availability: Rostered shifts including weekends, night shifts, public holidays, split and floating shifts.


Candidate must be compulsorily available for Weekends.

 

Your Key Responsibili􀆟es:
 You will be managing the site by providing con􀆟ngency, mentoring and coaching the
commercial cleaners and technicians, and providing supervision and direc􀆟on to employees.
 Effec􀆟vely manage & maintain key stakeholder rela􀆟onships, service delivery, staff
development, financial performance, contract performance, and con􀆟nuous improvement of
service delivery, organisa􀆟onal procedures, and employees.
 Ensure compliance with Occupa􀆟onal Health and Safety regula􀆟ons.
 Ensure compliance and quality assurance for daily opera􀆟ng protocol, quality control
procedures, site health and safety compliance, personal hygiene requirements, housekeeping,
and internal prac􀆟ces.
 Leading by example and driving con􀆟nuous improvement.
 Building and maintaining strong rela􀆟onships with clients.
 Ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented.
 Looking a􀅌er the company and client property and equipment.
 Controlling documenta􀆟on and repor􀆟ng of correct and accurate data.
 You will also par􀆟cipate in daily cleaning verifica􀆟on checks to ensure the quality outcomes
are achieved. Complying with the Quality Management System.
 Monitor inventory levels through stock ordering and daily and spot inventory checks,
assuring the staff make correct receiving and stocking. Iden􀆟fy current and future customer
requirements and maintain the Inventory accordingly
 Nego􀆟a􀆟ng with the vendors for the Pricing of the product in the best interests of the
business, to a􀆩ract more business and improve profitability. Coordinate with suppliers for
Inventory regularly.
 Developing effec􀆟ve marke􀆟ng strategies to ensure business profitability.
 Prepare and control the monthly budget, aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency.
 Being accountable for the profitability of the business
 Coordinate and nego􀆟ate with B2B & B2C clients to get maximum business profitability.
 Establish and maintain rela􀆟onships with clients and take regular feedback about services
provided.
 Listen to client feedback/complaints and ensure they are ac􀆟oned accordingly.

 Perform all other related du􀆟es and responsibili􀆟es as apparent or as assigned.
 Manage Staff roster, training, provide clear, construc􀆟ve feedback and support to every team
member and recruitment if required, cover and respond to urgent staffing gaps
 Deliver supplies and equipment to sites (vehicle provided)
 Monitor financial and contract performance while driving con􀆟nuous improvement.
Skills and Experience required:
 Minimum 2-3 Years of relevant experience required to work as a manager.
 However, a Diploma level of Qualifica􀆟on can subs􀆟tute the relevant work Experience
requirement. As detailed training will be provided to the Selected Candidates.
 Should know how to operate cleaning equipment’s such as Floor scrubbing and buffing, Floor
stripping and polish, Carpet cleaning, Steam cleaning and others.
 Need to be mature and handle responsibili􀆟es during shi􀅌s for the business and staff
independently.
 Ability to work in a Mul􀆟cultural Environment. Possess mo􀆟va􀆟onal and leadership skills.
 Team player and ability to work competently under pressure.
 Must be able to work across any shi􀅌s including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
 Must have a Valid Driving license in New Zealand or an equivalent overseas driving license to
drive a Car in New Zealand.
 Must be a fit, quick thinker, reliable, trustworthy, and self-mo􀆟vated.
 Able to li􀅌 weights up to 25kg.
 Must be able to pass random drug test
 Must have an eye to detail.
 Must have No Serious Criminal Convic􀆟on
